Who we are
Rentix Software — a brand operated by Anmaer Software (Quebec, Canada). For any privacy-related question, write to info@rentixsoftware.com. Our Privacy Officer can be reached at the same address.
Data we collect
At signup: company name, email, password (hashed, never stored in plaintext). During use: business data you enter yourself (customers, equipment, bookings, invoices). Essential cookies for site operation (language preferences, session state). No advertising trackers, no third-party marketing cookies.
How we use it
To provide and bill the service; to contact you for product notifications (updates, security, trial expiry); to comply with legal and tax obligations. We never use your data for advertising and we never sell it.
Hosting and jurisdiction
Your data is hosted in Canada (Hetzner Falkenstein data center for the application server; backup copies in private GitHub Releases). It remains subject to Quebec (Law 25) and Canadian law.
Data retention
Data is retained while your account is active. Upon termination, it is deleted within 30 days, with the exception of accounting records (issued invoices) kept for 6 years as required by Canadian tax law.
Your rights (Law 25 / GDPR)
You can at any time: access your data, correct it, delete it, request portability (export), withdraw consent, file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. Write to info@rentixsoftware.com; we reply within 30 days.
Security
TLS 1.2+ connections, scrypt-hashed passwords, strict per-tenant data isolation (PostgreSQL RLS), AES-256 encrypted daily backups, HTTP security headers (HSTS, CSP). See our Security page for details.
Subprocessors
Stripe Inc. (card payments, PCI DSS Level 1 certified); Resend (transactional email delivery). No other subprocessor has access to your data.
Changes
Any material change to this policy will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Last updated: 2026-06-28.
